This policy explains what we collect when you use vertiomedia.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short because our collection is limited.
Who we are
Vertio Media builds customer acquisition systems for businesses in North America. We operate from San Diego, California. For anything in this policy you can reach us at info@vertiomedia.com or (818) 599-1932.
What we collect
We collect two kinds of information:
- What you give us. When you request a teardown you submit your name, work email, optional phone number, your website, and answers about your industry, revenue range, CRM, ad spend and current bottleneck. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type, referring page and timestamps. This is used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any sensitive personal information through this website.
Why we use it
- To prepare and deliver the acquisition system teardown you asked for.
- To reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, discuss working together.
- To keep the site secure and working.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a marketing sequence because you requested a teardown. If we ever want to send you something beyond a direct reply, we will ask first.
Who else sees it
Only the people at Vertio Media working on your review, plus the service providers that make the site and our email work — our web host and our email provider. Those providers process the data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and does not profile you across other websites. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy before it goes live and will keep the configuration privacy-preserving.
How long we keep it
Teardown submissions and related correspondence are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless you become a client — in which case we keep what is needed for the engagement and our records. Server logs are retained on our host's standard schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email info@vertiomedia.com and we will action it within 30 days.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the rights to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion, to request correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA. Use the same email address to make a request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. We limit access to submissions to the people who need it. No system is perfect, but we do not keep information we do not need.
Children
This site is aimed at businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted clearly.
